Beethoven Variations on God Save the Ki

Many composers have used Great Britain's national anthem in their compositions, including Haydn, Brahms, Paganini, Johann Strauss and Elgar. Beethoven composed these seven variations for piano between 1802 and 1803. He also quotes it in his "battle symphony" Wellington's Victory.
