Much of Arvo Part's music is for small forces and within the technical capabilities of developing musicians. Da Pacem Domine for recorder quartet is another example. Written in its "tintinnabuli" style, the piece was originally for choir or soloists a cappella. The scoring for recorders can be played in either of two combinations both of which can be found in this publication. High version - descant, treble, tenor and bass (S,A,T,B). Low version - tenor, bass, great bass, sub-bass (T,B,GB,SB). The adaption will make a unique concert item for middle-grade to more advanced players.
