Here Comes Treble! is a continuation of the story from Friends at Last. In this sequel, Joey, his dog Kismet, and his cat Tabby meet an energetic kitten! Can the new kitten stay out of trouble? Is there a way to turn a rainy day into the best day ever? Students learn the answers to these questions, follow the story, solve clues, and build a repertoire of memorised pieces. Students learn the pieces in this book mainly by rote. Notation serves only as a reminder and for this reason, pieces may be used across the elementary level as “stretch pieces” for beginning students. They are also suitable for late elementary students to build technique without the encumbrance of notation.
