His arrangements of well-known titles such as Bach's "Air", Mozart's "Ave Verum Corpus", Humperdinck's "Evening Prayer", Heymann/Youngs "When I fall in Love" and also Elton John and Bernie Taupin's "Your Song" illustrate the wide range of styles available to pianists.

Mike Cornick was born in 1947 and studied at the Trinity College of Music, London. He currently divides his time between teaching the piano and keyboard and composing. He is a well-known music educationalist in the field of jazz piano with many of his compositions appearing on examination syllabuses.
