Ting Tings We Started Nothing PVG FM

The Ting Tings are one of the most talked about new bands, going from No. 3 in the BBC's Sounds of 2008 poll back in January to No. 1 in May. A funky fun indie-pop duo, they have been likened to Blondie, The Gossip and even Tony Basil of the 1980s cheese-pop hit "Hey Mikey". Their debut single "That's Not My Name" reached No. 1 (UK singles chart) in May. The follow-up single "Shut Up And Let Me Know" (also featured in an IPod ad campaign) is in the top twenty and the album is in the top 10 (August 08).
