Wedding Music Tpt+CD Philip White BW
Choosing the right music for a wedding is as important as all the other arrangements that have to be made. There is, of course, a lot of music to choose from and it is not always easy making the right choice without either a little expert advice on the subject or an opportunity to listen to what is available in advance.
The popular marches and voluntaries associated with the marriage service have provided countless millions of couples with an enjoyable repertoire for many years. These wonderful tunes, some of which are included in this collection, are tried and trusted and will continue to be an important part of the marriage service. However, this publication seeks to extend the repertoire further with some new and distinctive voluntaries arranged for trumpet and organ, always such a nice combination for a wedding service. It also includes some 'interludes' which can be played when the bride and groom take their leave to sign the register. Please note that the Processional and Recessional voluntaries listed within are easily interchangeable.
In addition to the written music, this publication contains a CD of all voluntaries and interludes which will enable brides and grooms to make an informed choice. Importantly, for those not marrying in church, these pieces, if played on a hi-fi system, will allow the usual formalities to be observed in a venue unlikely to contain an organ.
